We are delighted to have received the German Design Award!
With me in the picture is Emmanuel Boos, a great porcelain artist and good friend of mine, who always supports me with his expertise in our porcelain and ceramic projects and played a key role in the idea and design of the wall installation HOOKS.
To this day, I am grateful that I took this path and dared to found MAOMI in 2015. Everyone told me that the market for interior products was completely overcrowded and in the beginning I was incredibly happy every time our designs were praised and bought.
The world's most renowned interior designers such as Vincent van Duysen, Huyghe Decoratie, Stéphane Parmentier and Marc-Ludolf von Schmarsow work with our products, we are listed in major stores such as The Webster in Miami and LA and Dahlgren Duck in Dallas, in top hotels and restaurants such as The Dolder Grand in Zurich, Mühle Schluchsee, Opus V in Mannheim and Baret, Berlin. We are repeatedly recognized for our design at the trade fairs we participate in, and in 2020 we received the Design Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
Now our work has been recognized with the German Design Award.
I am so incredibly happy that I was able to realize my passion, make the design landscape in Germany a little more diverse and at the same time always ensure good remuneration and thus social participation of the people at the other end of the production chain and support the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
