The design of the teapot KEIZU was derived from "Kyusu" - the name of traditional Japanese teapots, which are usually made from high-quality fired volcanic clay. The term "Kyusu" simply means "teapot", but is often used colloquially for teapots with a handle on the side. Originally from ancient China, they have found their way into Japanese culture over the centuries and are mainly used for making Japanese green tea.
