ELEPHANT FEET receives Focus Open Award 2023
After our design classic HOOKS received such a positive response this year, we are overjoyed that our new stoneware product ELEPHANT FEET was also quickly recognized by the design market: Two prestigious awards recognized the quality and design of our young stoneware series.
Firstly, we were recently awarded the international Focus Open Award 2023 for the outstanding product design of the ELEPHANT FEET stoneware, which had already honored our well-known KAYA tableware series three years ago. The award ceremony will take place on November 9, 2023 in Stuttgart. In addition, the ELEPHANT FEET stoneware will be on display in an exhibition at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart from November 10, 2023 to January 31, 2024.
In addition, the German Design Award - one of the most prestigious design awards in Germany - took notice of us again and nominated the ELEPHANT FEET for the Design Award of the Year 2024.
Inspired by the fascinating celadon glaze of ancient China, in which the various shades of green are achieved through the sophisticated firing process of a glaze containing iron oxide - the ELEPHANT FEET stoneware impresses with its extraordinary coloring. Each piece is unique and gives every table a special touch with its colors ranging from delicate sky blue to earthy green.
ELEPHANT FEET comes in eight different shapes, including plates, bowls and cups. Each piece is lovingly crafted by skilled artisans and is characterized by its organic and irregular shape. The vibrant color variations and the depth of the glazes make each piece a work of art.
