Each BENNY contains the craftsmanship, experience and precision of the employees of our partner company in Turkey. When choosing our carpenter, the quality and creative work offered, but above all the social cooperation within the company and the philosophy of management were decisive for us. In our carpenters in Turkey, we found a warm openness and a great knowledge of materials. Their passion for wood and the ability to bring the material to life contribute to the quality of our product.
The unique grain of our Turkish manufacturer's olive wood is reminiscent of precious marble. To make our cutting boards, we only use wood from older trees that no longer bear fruit. This way, local farmers do not suffer any crop losses.
Our producer pays particular attention to the time-consuming drying of the wood to less than 10% residual moisture. This ensures that our boards remain absolutely dimensionally stable during later use.
